SideDisplay for macOS v1.11.0
Hey everyone! We just shipped v1.11.0 for macOS.
No more password prompt every session
This is the big quality-of-life fix. Approve SideDisplay once under System Settings > General > Login Items & Extensions (under Background App Activity), and starting and stopping just works from then on. No more entering your password every time you connect. (If you'd rather not approve it, nothing changes and you'll be asked for the password as before.)
Better DNS handling
SideDisplay now uses only your Mac's own DNS servers, so setups with corporate, school, or custom DNS work more reliably.
Bug Fixes
Fixed screen sharing occasionally failing to start with a "virtual display not found" error
Fixed "Share my internet" not working on IPv6-only cellular connections
Also includes richer diagnostics for display and network start-up issues, which makes troubleshooting a lot easier.
