Sidecar Friends launches tomorrow: help shape a better way to meet people

Hi everyone, I’m Gautier, the founder of Sidecar Friends.

We’re launching on Product Hunt on October 12. Sidecar brings locals, travellers and newcomers together through small, platonic plans in public places: coffee, a walk, a museum visit or a beginner climb.

It’s an early beta. Some city boards are still empty, and fictional examples are clearly labelled. We’re looking for early members and people who would enjoy hosting the first real plans in their city.

What would make you comfortable requesting to join a plan with people you haven’t met before? And which city should we focus on first?
