Shovra - Designer portfolio shots from full-page screens in seconds

byβ€’
Drop in a full-page scroll. Shovra slices it, frames it, and builds your case study in seconds. It detects the device, splits long designs into sections, places each in a pixel-perfect iPhone, iPad or browser mockup, and matches the background to your design's colors. No template hunting. No smart objects. No slicing by hand. No lost weekends. Built for UI/UX designers and freelancers who land clients on Dribbble, Behance, Upwork or their own portfolio. Pay once, no subscription.

Hey Product Hunt πŸ‘‹

I'm the maker of Shovra. I've been a product designer for 7 years, and I built this out of my own frustration.

As designers, we win work with our portfolio. People hire what they can see. But between a full-time job and client deadlines, I never had time to turn my best work into proper portfolio pieces. Some projects I could only ever show by opening a raw Figma file in a meeting and talking through it. Great work, invisible.

The worst part was always the manual work. Hunting for device templates, slicing long full-page designs by hand, placing every section one by one, jumping between three different tools. Hours per project.

So I built Shovra to do it in seconds:

β†’ Drop in all your screens at once, even long full-page scrolls

β†’ Shovra slices them into clean sections automatically

β†’ Each one lands in a pixel-perfect iPhone, iPad or browser frame

β†’ Your designs are never regenerated or distorted, just presented

Where we are today: Shovra solves portfolio visuals for most designers in seconds. That's our strongest point right now, and it works.

Where we're going: top-tier designers need more. More advanced mockup options, richer presentation styles, and full case studies that are ready to post on Dribbble, Behance or Upwork without any rework. We're actively building toward that, and we're still early.

To get there faster, we're looking to raise investment and grow the team. If you're an investor or know someone who backs design tools, I'd love to talk.

And I'd love your honest feedback:

β†’ What's the most annoying part of preparing your portfolio today?

β†’ What would make your portfolio visuals truly stand out?

I'll be here all day answering every comment. Thank you for checking it out πŸ™

Β nice idea! Solutions that are built out of frustration are usually the greatest. :)
In my case I'd use Shovra to show marketing project case studies. Is that also possible? With Instagram reels, photos from events etc.?
