Shotomatic Action Capture - Turn Mac clicks into editable step-by-step guides

Shotomatic now turns click-driven Mac workflows into editable step-by-step guides. Action Capture saves the target state immediately before each accepted click, marks the action, and opens the sequence as a Document. Reorder Pages, add titles, descriptions, framing, and annotations, then export as PDF, PNG, JPG, WebP, or ZIP. Screenshots and Documents stay on your Mac. Free supports five saved steps per session; Pro removes the limit and watermark.

Hey Product Hunt — I’m Wooyeong, the maker of Shotomatic. When I first launched Shotomatic in May 2025, it was mainly a tool for hands-free screenshot automation. Since then, I kept coming back to a more familiar problem: creating a visual guide without stopping after every click to take and organize screenshots. That became Action Capture. Choose a target, complete the task normally, and Shotomatic saves the screen immediately before each accepted click. It marks the action and opens the sequence as an editable Document, where you can reorder Pages, add titles and annotations, adjust framing, and export PDF or images. Screenshots and Documents are stored locally on your Mac. Free supports five saved steps per session and exports with Made with Shotomatic branding. Pro removes the step limit and watermark and adds Blur, additional Click Markers, Step Numbers, and PDF customization. I’d love to hear from people who create SOPs, onboarding guides, support walkthroughs, tutorials, or QA evidence: what output or integration would make this useful in your workflow? And as always, thanks for your support! It means a lot to me :)
