I built ShotMirror because I’ve always been interested in basketball shooting form, but I found that most feedback is either too general or difficult to visualize.

ShotMirror lets you explore shooting motion in interactive 3D, compare different phases of your shot with elite players, and upload your own shooting video for detailed analysis.

Instead of only giving a single score, ShotMirror breaks the motion down into different parts of the shot and provides specific feedback on what looks strong and what could be improved.

I also wanted the experience to be visual and easy to understand, so users can compare the original shooting video with a 3D reference and inspect the motion from different angles.

ShotMirror is currently completely free.

I’d especially love feedback on the 3D visualization, the analysis results, and whether the coaching feedback feels useful for basketball players.
