What do you still do manually on your iPhone after asking AI for help?

I'm Jessie, one of two people building Shortcuts AI. It's a personal AI agent for your iPhone that doesn't stop at answering. It can take action and get things done.

The gap we kept hitting

I use ChatGPT, Gemini, and other AI tools on my iPhone every day. They're amazing at answering almost anything. But I kept running into one simple gap: the answer is often not the end of the task.

If AI summarizes something for me, I still have to copy and paste it to Notes myself. If I receive an invitation, I still have to open Calendar and add the event by myself. There are powerful agents like OpenClaw and many great AI products for professional workflows, but for everyday tasks on iPhone, I wanted something much simpler. Something anyone could use.

Apple is moving in this direction too. The new Siri AI in iOS 27 is a real step forward, and it can do much more across apps. But the current rollout still depends on supported newer devices, regions, and languages. In my own testing on the iOS 27 beta, I also found myself checking and fixing details after tasks were completed.

And if you want more control over how your AI works, like choosing the model or giving it your own instructions for repetitive tasks, there is still a gap.

That's why we built Shortcuts AI.

What Shortcuts AI does

Shortcuts AI is built on Apple's Shortcuts app, which is already on your iPhone. There's no separate app to download, and you don't even need to understand how the Shortcuts app works.

You use it the same way you use an AI chatbot: just tell it what you want in plain language. The Agent works out the steps, uses the available actions across Apple apps and third-party apps that support Shortcuts, and gets the task done.

Set it up once on your iPhone, and you can also use the same Agent across your Apple devices.

For more advanced or repeated workflows, you can choose the AI model that fits your work, add your own context and instructions, and control which actions and services the Agent can use. This can be especially useful for small business owners or anyone who repeats the same multi-step tasks.

And because Shortcuts AI doesn't depend on the Siri AI rollout, it can work beyond its current device and region restrictions.
