Hey Product Hunt! I'm Toru, and I'm building ShogunAI.
In one line: ShogunAI is your own AI that lives in your Mac's notch. It remembers your work as you do it, recalls it with sources, and finishes the open loops inside the tools you already use.
Why we built it
Using AI every day, two things kept bothering me:
1. It doesn't know me. Last week's decision, the thread still open, who said what. Every conversation starts with me pasting all of it back in.
2. I get an answer, but I still do the work. Copy the draft, open my email, find the file, attach it, hit send.
I wanted one thing that closes both gaps, so we built ShogunAI.
What it does
• Press Option, and the reply is already written. A draft that knows the context appears right in the app you're typing in
• Meeting notes, not recordings. Summary, decisions, and the commitments people made
• Two-way live translation
• One question across email, chat, docs, and calendar. Every answer comes with its source
• A brief before your day starts
• Bring the same memory to the AI apps you already use

• No screen recordings, no audio files. We keep text and where it came from, nothing else

Requirements and pricing
macOS 14 or later on Apple Silicon. On Macs without a notch, or on external displays, the panel appears at the center of the menu bar.

The source behind a remembered decision matters as much as the memory itself. I'd want to open that original thread before acting on an old commitment.
