Shelfinder Update 1.0.2 — Stability boost, safer file moves, and smoother drag & drop
Hey everyone! 👋
Here’s a small but meaningful update focused on reliability, safety, and ease of use.
What’s new in 1.0.2:
✅ More reliable drag & drop for large file groups
Moving a big batch of files could occasionally leave a few items behind on the shelf or in the source folder.
This update improves how Shelfinder handles these operations so everything moves together as expected.
✅ Stronger file-operation safety
We added extra safeguards to ensure files aren’t lost during a move — even in edge cases or when dragging large groups.
✨ New entry points to Preferences
You can now open Preferences from:
the item context menu
right-clicking the empty shelf background
Makes it easier to tweak settings without hunting for the menu bar.
This update is all about making Shelfinder feel more solid, predictable, and convenient in everyday macOS workflows.
As always, I’d love to hear any feedback or ideas for what you’d like to see next. Thanks for supporting indie macOS tools.
