Hi Hello! I'm the developer of SHARA, a Windows overlay for people who teach, record tutorials, demo software, or share their screen.

It started as a cursor highlighter, but the current version is more of a small presentation tool: Ctrl+Space opens a wheel under your cursor, then you can point, draw, erase, add arrows, zoom, or show keystrokes without leaving a toolbar on screen.

The big change: it is no longer a paid-only Store app.

What's Free, with no time limit:

- cursor halo and click cues

- SHARA Wheel

- Laser, Pen, Eraser, Arrow

- undo / clear, straight-line assist, thickness

- one saved color per tool

Pro trial, 14 days:

- Marker

- Line / Rectangle / Circle

- color sets and Alt+1-4 color switching

- Magnifier / Spotlight / Live Zoom / Broadcast

- keystroke display with password-field hiding

- extra halo/click styling

No account, no telemetry, no subscription. Pro is a one-time unlock if those extras are useful.

A cursor trail effect that fades after a few seconds would be great for demos, really helps the audience follow along when I'm moving quickly across the screen. Could be a toggle in the wheel maybe.
