A bit of background: we originally looked at using a traditional SDR service for one of our own B2B products, but we were not fully comfortable handing that first customer interaction to someone who might not understand a technical solution deeply enough. Researching every prospect and personalizing the approach was also very hard to scale.

That pushed us to build Sellora.

Our goal is to make it extremely simple, like Canva instead of Photoshop. No workflows, coding or AI expertise needed, and companies can scale SDR activity up or down whenever they need it without long commitments.

We also had early users who were skeptical about AI making calls, but after testing it they were genuinely surprised by how natural it felt.

We see it a bit like Google Search. People are comfortable asking Google almost anything because there is no judgement. In sales, many potential customers have questions but never ask them, and the opportunity disappears. Sellora can help bridge that gap through a natural conversation.

What surprised me most is how much of the process it actually covers. Researching the prospects, finding the right contacts, personalising the outreach, following up, making the calls, booking the meeting. Not one slice of it, the whole thing.

The part I am proudest of is the simplicity. No workflows to wire up, no prompts to write, no technical knowledge needed. It really does feel like an autonomous SDR sitting alongside your sales team rather than another tool you have to learn.
