Zero is a personal universe made of blocks, not a hosted account.
Every resource — memory, files, work, agents, identity, and money — is a block with a u128 address. Payloads are always encrypted. A seed (mnemonic) is the only proof of ownership. The same seed restores the same universe on any machine. Hardware can die. A server does not have to stay online for you to exist.
Using Zero is contributing. Write memory, save a file, run local inference, or split work into parallel slots — each completed act becomes a local block. When a wallet is present, that act can mint the zero token.
- 88% goes to the person who did the work
- 12% goes to the protocol developer address, automatically, at the same time
- No pre-mine. No pre-sale. The split is fixed
Local counts are a personal ledger. On-chain zero is the token. They are not the same thing until a mint is confirmed. If nobody wants the token, it stays a receipt of contribution.
Offline first. Inference, memory, and files finish on your machine. The network is sync, not a requirement. Peers replicate encrypted blocks (default R=3). If one machine dies, a remaining peer can continue, and a new device with the seed pulls what living peers still hold.x
