What should a 2-minute market research workflow include?

by

Hi Product Hunt!

I’m building Gold Dashboard at TR-MATE Global, a research-first workspace for exploring the gold market.

The product is designed around a repeatable question: when I open a gold dashboard, what do I need to check before deciding whether to research further?

The current H1 view brings several pieces of context into one screen:

• XAUUSD price action and chart history

• observed support and resistance levels

• recent gold news and macro drivers

• a gold timeline for connecting events with market movement

• market analysis for organizing the next research step

The goal is not to produce a trade signal. It is to reduce the time spent jumping between tabs and make the research process easier to repeat.

I’d love feedback from people who build or use research-heavy products:

1. What are the first three things you check when researching a market?

2. Which information belongs on the first screen, and which should stay one click away?

3. What would make you return to a research dashboard every day?

You can see the current interface here:

I’m interested in workflow design and information hierarchy—not trading predictions or financial advice.
