As developers and indie hackers, we all know the drill: you want to start a new project, but you end up spending the first two hours wrestling with Docker configs, configuring database ports, setting up SSL certificates, and watching your Mac's fans spin at maximum speed. 💻💨
We built ServBay to solve this exact pain. It’s a macOS-native development environment that lets you deploy 50+ services (PHP, Node, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, Mailpit, etc.) in just one click—with zero VMs and minimal RAM usage.
But in 2026, writing code is changing. Most of us are now building with AI agents like Claude Code, Cursor, or local models via Ollama. That got us thinking: Why hasn't our local dev environment evolved for the AI era?
So, we upgraded ServBay to be AI-Native. Here is what we’ve added:

🔑 Local-First AI Gateway: Consolidate your API keys (OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek, etc.) in one place. No keys are sent to the cloud. You get full control over budgets and load balancing.
📱 Mobile Remote Control (End-to-End Encrypted): Run long agent tasks, step away from your desk, and approve agent actions or restart databases directly from your phone.
