TruEQ — System-Wide Graphic & Parametric EQ for Android (AutoEQ, 32-Band, Per-App Profiles)
Hi everyone!
I'm a 90's bass head and wanted something that supports my needs. I wear earbuds at the gym, IEM's at home. I got tired of adjusting the phones EQ along with other EQ's to get the sound I wanted, which was meh for the most part. Podcasts and e-books don't need to be bass heavy, only my music. I want bass and clarity when watching movies. So, I built TruEQ out of frustration. With existing Android equalizers being either too stripped down or bloated with subscriptions and tracking. I wanted a clean, system-wide audio engine that works globally across Spotify, YouTube, YouTube Music, games, and streaming apps without needing a specialized music player.
Features:
Graphic & Parametric EQ: Switch between Simple (3-band), 10/16/32-band graphic EQ, or an interactive Parametric EQ (PEQ) with draggable nodes for frequency, gain, and Q-factor.
Per-App Automation: Assign custom profiles that switch automatically when you launch specific apps (e.g., dedicated bass curve for YouTube, flat target for Hi-Fi streaming).
DSP & Headroom Management: Dedicated preamp control, peak limiter to prevent digital clipping, and L/R channel balance.
Privacy-First: Zero ads, zero tracking/telemetry, no accounts required, and works completely offline.
The base app is free with the standard 10-band EQ and Simple mode. The advanced parametric engine, 32-band mode, AutoEQ import, and per-app automation are unlocked with a single one-time purchase—no recurring subscriptions.

I’d love to get your feedback on performance, UI usability, and overall sound handling across different devices and headphones. Let me know what you think or if there are specific features you'd like to see added!
Thank you!!!
