Today is my product launch day
Hey Product Hunt š
I'm the maker. Before Pesterly was software it was me, manually chasing other firms' clients for documents. Writing the list, sending the email, sending it again on Thursday, sending it again the following week with "so sorry to keep bothering you" in front of it, because by then it genuinely feels rude.
Doing that job by hand taught me one thing: it never mattered how good the portal was. What mattered was whether the reminder came from someone the client already talks to. So Pesterly doesn't build you a portal. It sends from your own Gmail, into the thread your client is already replying in, on day 0, 3, 7 and 10 each message shorter than the last, listing only what's still outstanding. When the last file arrives it stops on its own. The uploads go straight into your own Google Drive; we keep a pointer, not the file.
Honest limitations, since you'll find them anyway:
⢠Gmail and Google Workspace only. No Outlook.
⢠Zero customers so far. There are no logos on the site because there is nothing to put there yet.
⢠I can't promise inbox placement and I won't pretend otherwise. I can tell you it's plain text, no tracking pixel, no link shortener, from your domain, into an existing thread.
⢠No OCR, no parsing, no AI reading your clients' documents. That's deliberate and it isn't changing.
⢠The day 0/3/7/10 cadence is fixed unless you're on Practice or Firm.
What I'd actually like from you:
1. If you chase clients for documents where does your current process break? The ask, the follow-up, or the filing?
2. What would stop you trusting a tool with send access to your inbox? I'd rather hear it now.
3. Tell me what's missing. Brutal is fine.
