The “Where did I see this?” problem is painfully real

by

Do you ever remember the content… but not where you found it? 🧠

You remember the idea.

You remember that it was really useful.

You might even remember whether it was a YouTube video, article, Reddit post, or GitHub repo.

But when you actually need it:

“Wait… where did I see this?” 😭

And then begins the chaos:

→ Search your browser history
→ Open 17 tabs
→ Search Google again
→ Check bookmarks
→ Search YouTube
→ Give up
→ Somehow find it 3 weeks later when you don't need it anymore 💀

The internet has made information incredibly easy to consume.

But ridiculously hard to remember and rediscover.

That’s the problem we’re working on with MemShift.

Instead of asking you to perfectly organize everything you see, we’re exploring whether your internet activity can become something you can actually remember and search through later.

We're currently letting early users try it.

If you've ever had the “I KNOW I saw this somewhere” problem…

give MemShift a try and tell us if it solves it for you. 👀

Would love to know: What’s the last thing you spent way too long trying to find again?
