The Launch Trailer Dilemma: Endless hours in Premiere vs. expensive "AI slop". What’s your fix?

Hey Product Hunt community! 👋

As someone who loves building and constantly spinning up new projects, I hit the exact same brick wall every single time it’s time to launch: Making the app trailer.

It usually goes one of two ways:

  1. The Manual Grind: Spending 10+ hours dragging keyframes in Premiere Pro or After Effects when I should be focusing on the actual product.

  2. The AI Route: Burning through incredibly expensive AI video tokens, only to get an unpredictable, slightly creepy result that looks like typical "AI slop."

I got so tired of this cycle that I decided to build a third option for founders like us. It’s called Fieldora.

The concept is dead simple: Strictly zero AI, purely template-based.

You just drop in specific screenshots of the application or website you’re working on, and the platform plugs them into a highly polished, professional trailer template instantly. No prompt engineering, no weird melting pixels, and no massive token bills.

Because I know how many of us are serial builders who launch multiple projects a year, I’m structuring it as a flat monthly subscription. You pay one fee, and you can pump out clean trailers for whatever you're launching that month.

We are currently building out the initial template library and running a private waitlist.

I’d love to get your raw feedback on this:

  • How much time/money do you typically spend on your launch videos?

  • Would a template-driven, non-AI approach solve this headache for you, or do you actually prefer the randomness of AI video tools?

If this sounds like something that would save your sanity on your next launch, let me know in the comments and I'll gladly DM you an early access link to the waitlist!
