Signal Radar.My first launch today!
Hey Product Hunt ๐
Iโm Cheng, the maker of Signal Radar.
And today is my first launch.
This started with an uncomfortable realization: the moment you need your phone most โ lost on a trail, injured in the backcountry, stranded in a country you donโt know โ is usually the moment it stops being useful. No signal, no maps, no help, no answers.
Most โsafetyโ apps donโt actually fix this. They need a connection, an account, or a server in the loop โ exactly what you canโt reach when it matters.
Signal Radar is built the opposite way, to work when everything else goes dark:
๐ Offline SOS โ distress signaling and location tools that donโt need a network
๐ Global emergency numbers โ the right number for any country, no data required
๐ Survival guides in 10 languages โ first aid, shelter, water, signaling
๐ค On-device AI (Gemma) โ ask survival questions with zero connection
๐ Privacy-first โ everything runs on your device. No servers, no account, no tracking.
Airplane mode, a dead zone, a mountain pass with no bars โ it all still works.
Iโd love your honest feedback, especially if you hike, climb, travel, or work somewhere the signal runs out. What would make this something youโd actually carry?
Thanks for checking it out ๐

Really cool approach to offline safety tools... especially the on-device AI! If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon... an AI-powered flashcard app... would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile)
Thanks Rian! Really appreciate the kind words โ offline + on-device AI is something weโre super passionate about. And the app has been approved on App Store, everyone can download it by searching "Signal Radar".
And congrats on your upcoming launch โ The Sponge sounds awesome! Iโll definitely check it out and follow your PH launch. Good luck with it! ๐
