Signal Radar.My first launch today!

byโ€ข

Hey Product Hunt ๐Ÿ‘‹

Iโ€™m Cheng, the maker of Signal Radar.

And today is my first launch.

This started with an uncomfortable realization: the moment you need your phone most โ€” lost on a trail, injured in the backcountry, stranded in a country you donโ€™t know โ€” is usually the moment it stops being useful. No signal, no maps, no help, no answers.
Most โ€œsafetyโ€ apps donโ€™t actually fix this. They need a connection, an account, or a server in the loop โ€” exactly what you canโ€™t reach when it matters.
Signal Radar is built the opposite way, to work when everything else goes dark:
๐Ÿ†˜ Offline SOS โ€” distress signaling and location tools that donโ€™t need a network
๐Ÿ“ž Global emergency numbers โ€” the right number for any country, no data required
๐Ÿ“– Survival guides in 10 languages โ€” first aid, shelter, water, signaling
๐Ÿค– On-device AI (Gemma) โ€” ask survival questions with zero connection
๐Ÿ”’ Privacy-first โ€” everything runs on your device. No servers, no account, no tracking.
Airplane mode, a dead zone, a mountain pass with no bars โ€” it all still works.
Iโ€™d love your honest feedback, especially if you hike, climb, travel, or work somewhere the signal runs out. What would make this something youโ€™d actually carry?
Thanks for checking it out ๐Ÿ™

Really cool approach to offline safety tools... especially the on-device AI! If you're up for it, I'm launching The Sponge on PH soon... an AI-powered flashcard app... would appreciate a follow (See "PRODUCT HUNT LAUNCH" Link in my profile)
