Seer is now available inside Claude via MCP

Today we're excited to launch one of our biggest updates yet.

You can now connect Seer directly to Claude through the Model Context Protocol (MCP), giving Claude access to Seer's hardware engineering tools without leaving the conversation.

With the Seer MCP, Claude can now:

  • Generate production-ready 3D CAD models

  • Design electronic circuits

  • Search patents and prior art to help evaluate invention novelty

Our goal is simple: make AI assistants capable of building real-world products, not just writing code.

Instead of switching between multiple applications, you can stay inside Claude while Seer handles the specialized engineering work.

This is only the beginning.

We're already expanding the MCP with additional engineering capabilities, including simulation, validation, and design analysis tools, so AI can reason about whether a design actually works—not just generate it.

If you're building hardware products with Claude, we'd love to hear what you create and what tools you'd like us to add next.

Happy building!

Thanks everyone for the support!

Our goal with Seer has always been to make AI useful for physical product development—not just writing code.

MCP lets developers stay inside Claude while accessing Seer's engineering tools, making hardware workflows much smoother.

We're already working on adding simulation and validation capabilities next, so AI can iterate on designs with real engineering feedback.

We'd love your feedback on what tools you'd like to see integrated next.
