Personal loans shouldn’t require a spreadsheet, so I built LendPal

by

Hey everyone,

I just launched LendPal on Product Hunt today.

I built it after realizing that personal loans tend to live everywhere except somewhere useful: old messages, notes, spreadsheets, or simply your memory.

LendPal is an iPhone app that keeps track of:

  • who owes you money

  • outstanding balances and due dates

  • repayments as they come in

  • your overall personal-lending picture

It’s intentionally focused on money lent to friends and family rather than trying to be another full budgeting app.

The free version supports up to seven active loans, which should be enough for most people to properly try it.

Here’s the Product Hunt launch:

I’d genuinely appreciate feedback on the positioning and screenshots. Does the purpose feel immediately obvious, or is there something you’d explain differently?

I could have used this a while back. I will now be using it going forward.
