NIVO — a simpler alternative to algorithm-heavy social apps

Instagram made you an influencer. NIVO wants to make you you.

I've been working on NIVO, a social app built around a question I kept asking myself: why does sharing something online feel so exhausting now? Between algorithms deciding what we see, filters changing how we look, and the constant chase for likes — it feels far from the original idea of just... connecting with people.

So I tried building something simpler:

• No algorithm manipulating your feed

• No heavy filters — just real posts

• Focus on identity and presence over performance

It's still early and far from perfect. I'd genuinely love feedback from this community — what would make a platform like this actually worth using for you? What's missing? What's annoying?
