Motion Hero — Build on Shopify the scrolling website you keep seeing on Social Media
We built Motion Hero for Shopify stores that want the kind of scroll-driven experiences you see on sites like Apple, Terminal Industries, Cula Tech and other highly interactive websites.
Right now, social media is full of people saying:
“Just build it with Claude.”
And yes, you can. But if what you actually want is a scroll-controlled video section, it’s still much easier to open a Video Editor, upload your video, set the behavior, add your content and publish it.
No prompt debugging.
No rebuilding the same component every time.
And you can create as many sections as you want.
You still need the video itself — Motion Hero doesn’t magically create the creative asset for you. What it removes is the work of turning that video into an interactive Shopify experience.
Motion Hero currently has 3 modes:
Frame-by-frame scroll video — the video progresses exactly with the user’s scroll
Guided playback — for more cinematic experiences like the kind you see on Rossinavi SeaCat, where scrolling guides the visitor through the story
Standard video banner — for regular video sections without scroll control
Inside the editor you can also add text, images, buttons, icons and shapes on a timeline, with separate desktop and mobile layouts.
Developers know terms like GSAP, ScrollTrigger and scroll-driven animation.
Most merchants don’t.
They just see a website on social media and think:
“I want my Shopify store to do that.”
