Mayday. Mayday. We are sinking! What are you thinking about?

When correct pronunciation and knowledge of another language really matter.
TonePerfect - Your AI pronunciation coach, down to every sound.
Most language apps teach you what to say. TonePerfect teaches you how to say it.
Hi, I’m Nikolay, the founder of TonePerfect.
Almost a year ago, I started this project as a Chinese language learning platform (that’s where the dragon mascot came from).
Now we cover 7 languages and help you identify and learn how to pronounce sounds and sound combinations that are difficult for you.
This Friday, I invite everyone to test their pronunciation, find out which dragon level you’re at, see which sounds you’re nailing, and identify which ones still need work (so you don’t end up in a situation like the one in the headline).

Oh, wow, just love the idea! Pronunciation is an important part of language learning, yet it’s often overlooked.
Wishing TonePerfect a successful launch!
This sounds really interesting! I put a lot of emphasis on language learning for my kids, and pronunciation is such an important part of it. Looking forward to checking it out on Friday!
Pronunciation feedback is the part most language apps genuinely skip, so this is a good gap to go after. curious how TonePerfect tells the difference between an accent and an actual wrong sound. like if someone’s “r” just sounds different because of their native language but is still understood fine by a native speaker, does it flag that as something to fix, or is the bar specifically about being understood rather than sounding native? that distinction seems like it’d make or break how useful the feedback actually feels day to day.
