Launched FieldLine yesterday — a phone system for home-services operators — feedback wanted
Hey PH 👋
I'm Tudor, a solo developer from Romania, and I launched FieldLine yesterday. I don't use social media much and I don't have a community to share this with — so this forum is basically it.
FieldLine is a phone system built for US home-services operators — HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical. Dedicated numbers per technician and per ad channel, every call recorded and transcribed, AI summary on every call, and a structured lead card the moment a call ends. No softphone. No CRM to learn. Two-minute setup.
Why I built it: I've built custom apps for businesses in a few different niches that live and die on phone calls. Studying their workflows, the same knots kept showing up: missed calls = missed jobs, leaky follow-up via voicemail and sticky notes, no one remembering the details of the conversation, manual data entry after every call, and no clear answer to "is the Yelp ad actually working?" because the phone bill and the marketing report never speak to each other.
There are tools that solve pieces of this, but they're either built for enterprise, require real technical setup, or are just the wrong shape for a 4-person crew running between trucks.
I'm genuinely looking for feedback — on positioning, on the workspace UX, on whether the founding-member angle reads as authentic or gimmicky, and honestly on whether this is useful at all or whether I should move on. I'll reply to every comment.
