I think we forgot that the sky is still there
I open a new tab more than a hundred times a day.
Most of the time, it feels like nothing.
A blank page.
A search.
Another task.
But behind the screen, the sky is still moving.
The sun is rising or setting.
The moon is changing.
The season is turning.
And I think I forgot to look.
That was the feeling behind Spatium.
I wanted my new tab to feel less like an empty page, and more like a small reminder that the world is still happening outside the browser.
So Spatium shows your real sunrise and sunset, tonight’s moon, the current season, and a new photo of the universe every morning.
We are launching a new version on June 25 on Product Hunt.
Here is the pre-launch page if you want to check it out or follow along:

Do you think a new tab should only be useful, or can it also make you feel something?
