I made a little tool that turns humming into sheet music

I built a little tool called Audio to Sheet Music and launched it today.

The idea is pretty simple: hum or sing a melody into your mic, or upload an audio file, and it tries to turn it into sheet music you can edit.

It works right in the browser. You can record up to 30 seconds, import WAV/MP3/M4A, and export the result as PNG, PDF, MIDI, or WAV. No account needed, and the audio stays on your device.

It's definitely not perfect. I'm using basic pitch, spectrum, and volume analysis rather than AI, so it works best with a clear melody played by one instrument or sung on its own. Add chords, drums, or a busy backing track and the results can get pretty messy. It also can't separate vocals from other instruments.

I'd be curious to hear how it works with a melody you know well. Does it get the notes right? What goes wrong?
