I’m exploring a simpler way to understand your path to financial freedom
I’ve been building a small experiment around FIRE and financial independence.
Most FIRE tools I found are either spreadsheet-heavy or offer a lot of detailed planning. I wanted to explore something much simpler: answer 4 questions and get an instant “Freedom Age”, roughly when work could become optional.
I built the first version with Lovable, and I'm using Cloudflare Analytics + PostHog to understand how people actually use it. I'm also adding Supabase to let users save their results.
The interesting part for me now isn't building more features, it's figuring out what would make someone want to come back every month rather than use it once as a calculator.
I'd love to hear from other makers:
What would turn a simple FIRE calculator into something you'd actually want to return to?
Progress tracking? Goals? Gamification? Scenarios? Something completely different?
