I launched my first boating social app today! Would love some feedback from fellow makers.

Hey everyone!

Today I launched RaftOff Social, an app I've been building to connect boating communities.

I'm starting with Lake St. Clair in Michigan, but the bigger vision is to build a nationwide social platform for people who love being on the water.

I've built features like interactive lake maps, events, groups, messaging, custom profiles, challenges, and even a seasonal Ice Mode.

The working prototype is live, and I'm currently polishing everything before the full public release.

One of the biggest things I'm trying to figure out now is how to build that first active community and keep people engaged.

I'd be interested to hear from other makers who've launched community-based platforms. What helped you attract your first real users?
