I got tired of using the same payment card everywhere, so I'm building Sitra.

Hi everyone, I'm a backend developer and over the past few months I've been working on an idea that's been stuck in my head. Every time I buy something online, sign up for a free trial, or subscribe to a service, I'm expected to reuse the same debit or credit card. That never felt right. So I'm building Sitra. The first version focuses on disposable virtual cards. The idea is simple: • Create a virtual card in seconds. • Set a spending limit. • Choose when it expires. • Automatically discard it after use. Instead of exposing one card everywhere, every purchase can have its own card. Long term, I want Sitra to become a payment control platform, but I'm intentionally starting with one problem and trying to solve it well. I've just launched the waitlist and would genuinely love feedback from people who shop online, use subscriptions, or have ever wished they had more control over their payments. Website: I'd especially love to know: - Is this a problem you've experienced? - Would disposable virtual cards be useful to you? - What's one feature you'd expect from a product like this? I'm here for honest feedback, positive or negative. Thanks for reading! PH:

This is a problem I've run into quite a few times, especially with free trials and recurring subscriptions. I like the focused MVP approach—it's much easier to validate one strong use case first. Looking forward to seeing how Sitra grows. Best of luck with the launch!
