I built a tool that finds Reddit threads where people are already asking for a product like yours
I sspent years in lead gen and outbound. The playbook was always the same: buy a list, write a cold email, hope it lands on the right day. It rarely did.
Meanwhile, the people who actually needed a solution were posting about it on Reddit, in detail, in threads nobody on the sales team was reading.
So I built ThreadPilot. Screenshot attached: it's an alert for a thread where someone asks how to generate B2B SaaS leads organically.
Here's what it does:
✅ Watches relevant subreddits around the clock
✅ Scores every thread for intent and fit, not just keyword matches
✅ Tells you if the person is venting, researching, or ready to buy
✅ Checks subreddit rules and prior mentions of your product before you reply
✅ Drafts a reply based on the thread's context
✅ Alerts you when a competitor gets mentioned, praised, or criticized
This is for anyone who's:
- A founder doing their own outreach
- Running an agency and tired of buying lists
- Managing a sales or growth team that misses conversations happening in public
- Sick of cold email as the only channel
One thing it doesn't do: post for you. Ever. Reddit works because people trust the people in it, and autopilot commenting kills that. ThreadPilot finds the thread and gives you context and a draft. You edit it or skip it. Whether to show up is your call.
How it works:- Tell it what you sell and who it's for
- It monitors and ranks threads
- You review the best ones
- You reply, edit a draft, or pass
- Your choices improve what it surfaces next
The goal was simple: stop guessing who might need your product and start talking to people who already said they do.
Happy to walk through a setup or run it against your product so you can see what it finds. Feedback and blunt criticism are welcome. I built this because cold outreach kept failing me, and I doubt I'm the only one.
