I built a NAT VPS for bots, VPNs and side projects. Looking for honest feedback
Hey everyone 👋
I’m Mohammad, and I built natbox.io: small Linux servers starting at $1/month.
A lot of what we run doesn’t need a full VPS with its own IPv4. A Discord bot, a personal WireGuard VPN, an Uptime Kuma monitor, a test box or a small API will all run fine on something much smaller and cheaper. So I built that.
What you get:
Root SSH on Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine or AlmaLinux (Incus LXC)
Your own block of forwarded IPv4 ports (TCP and UDP)
A routed IPv6 /80
Your own domains on ports 80 and 443
One-click apps: WireGuard, Uptime Kuma, code-server and Minecraft
What you don’t get:
A dedicated IPv4 address (it’s shared, which is how the price stays at $1)
Docker
Outbound mail on ports 25, 465 and 587
Managed backups
Trying it:
🎁 A small server is free for a month while trial slots last
💸 Your first paid server has a 7-day money-back guarantee
Pay with crypto or PayPal
What I’d love from you:
What would you run on a $1 box?
Is there a feature that’s missing for you, or something that’s a dealbreaker?
If you try it, a review on Product Hunt would help a lot: https://www.producthunt.com/products/natbox-io/reviews/new
I’ll be in the comments answering every question. Roast it, praise it, or tell me what to build next 🙏
