How much are your vendor contracts really costing you without you realizing it?
I’ve been spending a lot of time lately talking with small and medium-sized business owners about their vendor contracts: insurance, telecom, software, rent, and other recurring agreements.
The same thing surprises me every time. Almost no one can say, without reopening files or digging through bank statements, how much these contracts actually cost each month or which renewal deadlines are coming up in the next three months.
It’s not a lack of discipline. There simply isn’t a tool that handles this for them today, apart from complex contract-management software designed for large companies with dedicated legal teams.
I’m curious: how do you manage this in your company? A spreadsheet? Dedicated software? Nothing at all?
And if you’ve ever been caught off guard by an automatically renewed contract, I’d love to hear what happened.
I’m currently building MyContrat to solve this exact problem for SMBs in France, without the complexity of enterprise software.
Happy to discuss it in the comments or by message. There’s also a free trial with no credit card required if you’d like to see how it works with your own contracts.
