How many tools do you actually check to know if your business is healthy?

by

Hey everyone, Brandon here. Spent most of my career in security, testing platforms at scale, and the pattern that always stuck with me: nobody has time to check everything every day, so problems sit unnoticed until they've already cost money.

That's the exact thing we built DailyHelm to fix, it checks your whole business overnight instead of one tool at a time, and hands you a short list each morning of what's broken and what's wasting money.

Launching here soon, but before that I'd genuinely like to know from this community: how many separate tools or dashboards do you personally check in a normal week just to feel like you know what's going on? And is there one you'd cut immediately if you could?

Real answer for me: five or six in a normal week across a small SaaS portfolio, Stripe for revenue, Vercel for deploy and error status, Supabase for anything database related, plus whatever analytics each product uses individually. None of them talk to each other, so knowing if anything is broken means opening five tabs and holding the picture in my head rather than reading it off one screen.

The one I would cut if I could is generic uptime monitoring on its own. It tells you a server responded, not whether the thing that actually matters happened, a payment succeeding, a job completing. A 200 status code and a broken checkout look identical to that kind of tool.

What is the first false positive you expect DailyHelm to throw once it is watching a real account instead of a demo one?
