How do you handle website feedback from clients?

by•

I'm curious how other makers, designers, developers, and agencies handle website feedback.

When you're working with a client, how do you handle comments like:

"Move this button slightly to the left."

"This section doesn't look right on mobile."

"Change the image here."

I've seen teams use screenshots, Loom, Figma, Slack, email, project-management tools, etc.

But I'm curious about the actual workflow.

What tool do you use for website feedback, and what do you like/dislike about it?

For example:

  • How do you show the exact location of an issue?

  • How do you track whether feedback has been resolved?

  • How do clients communicate visual changes?

  • What happens when feedback comes through multiple channels?

I'm currently exploring this problem myself while building a small tool around visual website feedback, so I'm particularly interested in hearing how others solve it.

What's your current workflow?
