How can we make invoicing and inventory management simpler for mobile-first merchants?

What would make business software easier for merchants who mainly use their phones?

Hi everyone, I’m Amadou, the founder of Facturvo, built in Senegal for merchants, freelancers, and small businesses.

Many business owners manage invoices, stock, and unpaid customer balances across notebooks, spreadsheets, and WhatsApp. I’m building Facturvo to bring these tasks together in one place.

It currently offers:

• Quotes and invoices

• Inventory and multi-store management

• Payment tracking and WhatsApp reminders

• An AI voice assistant

• French and English support, with multiple currencies

My biggest challenge is making these features easy to use for people with limited experience with technology.

For those building or using small-business software: what makes the biggest difference in everyday use? A shorter setup, clearer screens, voice commands, or something else?

You can explore Facturvo here: [

I’d welcome honest feedback, especially about anything that feels confusing or unnecessary.

Clearer screens, if I had to pick one. Back in 2000 I built a rental shopping cart system for small online shops, and what people thanked me for wasn't the features, it was that it was easy to use. It got to 200 shops in a year. Building it from Senegal for merchants who live on their phones sounds like the right place to start. I had a look at the site, and turning an accepted quote into an invoice in one click with no re-typing is exactly what busy merchants need. Sending it over WhatsApp fits how they already work, too.
