Course creators: what would actually make you switch platforms?
Hey makers,
I'm building a platform for people who teach live and sell courses online. We launch here on 6 October, and before that I want to test a few assumptions with people who do this for real.
What we're betting on:
Creators want to sell from their own domain, not a marketplace URL
The cut taken on every sale hurts more than the monthly fee, so we charge 0% commission
Live classes and recorded courses belong in one place, not spread across three tools
If you teach online, or tried and gave up, I'd like to hear:
What do you use now, and what bugs you most about it?
Would 0% commission make you move, or does something else matter more (payments, student experience, getting found)?
Blunt answers are more useful than polite ones. I'll post what we learn back in this thread.
(We're Prolaud, for context.)
