Hey everyone — Marco here. 25 years as a TV cameraman and photographer, no formal engineering background, building this solo with AI-assisted development.

The problem I kept running into: getting a shot right takes seconds. Writing a genuinely good caption, the right hashtags, alt text, and figuring out what music actually fits — that took me twenty minutes every single time, for every platform I wanted to post to.

What CAPTD does: upload one photo, get a complete content pack back — caption, hashtags, alt text, a hook, and a music suggestion — tailored per platform, not one generic block of text stretched across nine different places. No signup required to try it.

Beyond the core generator, I've been building out a free tools section too — exposure/DoF calculators, golden hour timing, an AI photography assistant — plus a growing photography glossary and a 28-lesson free Academy, since I wanted this to be genuinely useful to photographers even before they ever generate a single caption.

Where things stand: the whole product just went through a full redesign, real payments are coming soon, and I'm launching properly on Product Hunt on October 3rd.

I'd genuinely love feedback before then — what's confusing, what's missing, what would actually make you use something like this. Not looking for votes here, just honest thoughts from people who actually get what building something solo is like.
