Can web designers reliably check BFSG conformity without a full legal audit?
I am validating a product idea for web designers and small agencies.
Problem:
Accessibility scanners find issues, but they do not tell you whether a client website is actually BFSG-ready or what prevents conformity.
The product idea:
A guided BFSG conformity checker for client websites.
It would walk the user through:
BFSG scope assessment
website and user-flow inventory
click-by-click interaction audit
EN 301 549 / WCAG checklist
e-commerce and checkout flow checks
Anlage 3 information check
evidence collection
final result: conformant, non-conformant, not determinable, expert review needed, or legal review needed
Not a magic scanner. Not “audit in 30 minutes”.
A structured assessment workflow with evidence.
Question: Would web designers and small agencies pay for this, or is this too legal/risky to be a product?
