Can web designers reliably check BFSG conformity without a full legal audit?

by

I am validating a product idea for web designers and small agencies.

Problem:

Accessibility scanners find issues, but they do not tell you whether a client website is actually BFSG-ready or what prevents conformity.

The product idea:

  • A guided BFSG conformity checker for client websites.

  • It would walk the user through:

  • BFSG scope assessment

  • website and user-flow inventory

  • click-by-click interaction audit

  • EN 301 549 / WCAG checklist

  • e-commerce and checkout flow checks

  • Anlage 3 information check

  • evidence collection

  • final result: conformant, non-conformant, not determinable, expert review needed, or legal review needed

  • Not a magic scanner. Not “audit in 30 minutes”.

  • A structured assessment workflow with evidence.

Question: Would web designers and small agencies pay for this, or is this too legal/risky to be a product?
