Built a free web app to scan CDs/Vinyl and track which exact shelf/slot they are on (no sub, no ads)

Hey, I'm a big physical media collector (CDs and vinyl) and my shelves were getting pretty chaotic. I kept forgetting where I placed specific albums, or which physical disc actually had that one live track I was looking for.

So I built a web app called Discify to solve this for myself: https://discify.horhaeuser.com

What it does:

• You scan the barcode with your phone camera (or type EAN/UPC).

• It pulls cover art and tracklists automatically.

• You assign it to a location (like Shelf 2, Box B, Slot 12).

• You can search for a track name and it shows you the exact physical album and shelf location.

• Includes a small purchase overview to track how many albums you bought per month/year.

It’s completely free, no subscription walls, no ads, and no public feed pushing you to sell stuff. Accounts are private. If anyone wants to support hosting costs there's a voluntary link, but every feature is open to everyone.
