Building a Way to Make Subscription Management Smarter
Hey everyone. I’m the solo founder of SubHalt. On several occasions, I’ve been charged for forgotten subscriptions and free trials I didn’t even use. It’s quite frustrating, especially when you realize you’ve been paying for something you completely forgot about.
That experience made me want to build something that goes beyond simply reminding people when payments are due. I wanted to create something that helps people understand and manage their recurring spending more effectively.
One thing I’ve found interesting while building SubHalt is how recurring expenses can become a significant part of our spending, yet many people don’t have a clear picture of all their subscriptions in one place. Sometimes, you don’t fully realize how much you’re spending on subscriptions and bills until you start tracking them together.
I’m curious about how other people approach this. How do you currently track and manage your subscriptions? What do you find most frustrating about having multiple subscriptions, especially when it becomes difficult to keep track of them all?
I’d love to hear your experiences and perspectives.

Same here, I've been caught by subscriptions I forgot about. It's one reason I prefer buying tools outright when I can. Seeing everything that repeats in one place sounds really useful.
