Building a platform that connects people with good causes is harder than it looks
When we started building Aseel, we didn't want to build just another marketplace.
Aseel brings together different ways for people to make an impact, from supporting communities and causes to discovering products made by talented people from places that don't always get much attention online.
One thing we've learned is that the technology is only one part of the challenge.
You have to make it simple for someone who wants to help, simple for communities receiving support, and simple for people sharing their work with the world.
Those different needs don't always fit neatly together, and that's made building Aseel an interesting journey.
We're still learning, testing, and improving every day.
