A vault that unlocks with your own gesture, not a PIN

I'm Dakota, a solo iOS developer (day job: IT/security, managing identity for a multi-property company). I built GestureVault because I was tired of PINs that anyone could shoulder-surf and biometrics I didn't want stored anywhere.

What it does:
Instead of a PIN or Face ID, you unlock GestureVault with a custom gesture you design yourself, finger-count combos, swipe patterns, or a mix of both. Inside, it stores photos, notes, and passwords, all encrypted locally with Keychain and CryptoKit. No cloud, no account, nothing to leak.

What's new:
We just shipped an Apple Watch companion app that holds your TOTP (2FA) codes. Unlock it by rotating the digital crown in your own sequence, like an old combination lock, then confirm with your watch passcode. Your codes are right on your wrist, no digging through your phone mid-login.

Why it matters:
A lot of people keep sensitive stuff, seed phrases, backup codes, private photos, sitting completely unprotected in Notes or Photos. GestureVault gives you a real, local, encrypted place for that instead.
