ScrollPause - A pause screen before the app you didn't mean to open

by•
Pick the apps that pull you in. Next time you open one, ScrollPause shows a pause screen first: which app, what time, do you really want to? Tap "I'll pass" and it closes. PIN lock, quiet hours, weekly summary. No account, no data leaves.

Hi Product Hunt! I make small iPhone apps on my own. ScrollPause puts one moment of friction between you and the app you open without meaning to. You pick the apps. The next time you open one, a pause screen appears first: which app, what time it is, and whether you really meant to. Tap "I'll pass" and the app closes. Tap through twice and you get five minutes. No streaks, no lectures, no shame. The part I cared most about: every screen-time tool loses at the moment you decide to switch it off, usually late at night. So ScrollPause can lock itself with a PIN — your paused apps and quiet hours can't be changed by whoever is holding the phone, including you at 1 a.m. And an honest limit: the PIN guards ScrollPause, but no iOS app can stop you from deleting it or turning Screen Time off in Settings. Any app that says otherwise is selling something. Nothing leaves your phone: no account, no server, no ads, no analytics. Pro (yearly, or a one-time lifetime purchase) adds the PIN lock, up to 50 paused apps instead of 3, quiet hours, and every past week. Which app do you open without meaning to?
