Scrollback - Self-hosted archive for X, RSS, articles, and AI search

by
A self-hosted archive for posts, threads, and feeds.Scrollback is a self-hosted archive for X/Twitter saves, RSS feeds, articles, media, and prompts. Capture what you want to keep, search it later with keyword and semantic search, enrich it with AI when you want, and keep the whole library on your own server instead of another hosted inbox.

Hey Product Hunt — I’m Rich, building Scrollback at Atom Tan Studio. I built Scrollback because my saved posts, RSS reads, article links, media, prompts, and useful threads kept disappearing into separate tools. I wanted one self-hosted place where I could keep the archive, search it, and let AI help enrich it without handing the whole library to another hosted service. What it does today: - Captures X/Twitter posts, threads, media, and linked article metadata - Imports RSS feeds and articles - Supports keyword and semantic search - Adds optional AI summaries, categories, translations, and image descriptions - Exposes data for exports and agent/native retrieval - Runs on your own server, with SQLite for local setup and PostgreSQL/pgvector for production There’s also a public read-only demo so you can click around before installing it. I’d love feedback from people who save a lot of material from X, RSS, and the open web. What would make this useful enough for your own archive?
