Cinema has always been my passion, something I couldn't pursue or get into for various reasons. However, I kept thinking about it throughout my corporate career. I wanted to contribute in any way possible to this medium—not because of the glamour it brings, but because it is one of the most powerful mediums to move people, inspire them, and heal when done right. ScriptDen is my attempt to be part of the cinema world. While exploring and reading scripts to better understand storytelling, I had a passing thought: what if we could analyze scripts the same way we analyze focus group transcripts? (I work at a market research firm.) Could we identify gaps or problem areas in pacing and structure? That thought eventually led me to build ScriptDen. I also understand how important script confidentiality is. That's why the platform is designed with privacy in mind. All scripts are analyzed locally in your browser—no AI models are used today. If I add AI-powered features in the future, they will be clearly communicated and entirely user-controlled. Since this is a beta launch, you can try it using any publicly available screenplay and explore the insights it generates. More than anything, I'm looking for honest feedback—whether this is genuinely useful, what feels missing, and how it can be improved. Filmmakers, film students, writers, or anyone who is as passionate about cinema as I am—I'd love to hear your thoughts. All suggestions are welcome!
