Hey everyone this is my first time building anything and I made ScanX to help with a problem I kept running into which was trying to copy text from screenshots PDFs or scanned documents I wanted something really easy where you could just drop in a file and get the text back without signing in or doing anything extra ScanX handles images PDFs and even HEIC files from your phone and it uses GPT to read and extract the text cleanly I focused a lot on making the design simple so anyone can use it right away without needing instructions I am honestly just really proud that I got this working and I hope it helps someone else too.
