Hi Product Hunt!

I looked for a tool that would simply keep checking my site's accessibility. What I found were either one-off checkers or enterprise platforms priced for large teams. So I built Scanluma to make accessibility something you keep an eye on, not something you check once and forget.

Most free checkers give you a one-off report. That's useful, but websites change all the time: a new banner, a plugin update, a theme tweak, and something that passed last month quietly breaks. Scanluma monitors your site on a schedule and shows how your accessibility score changes over time.

What it does

  • Scans your site automatically (weekly on Free, daily or weekly on Pro)

  • 50+ checks against WCAG 2.1 and 2.2, Levels A and AA

  • Explains every issue in plain language, with a severity and the exact HTML element where it occurs, so a site owner understands it and a developer knows where to look

  • Pro adds subpages (homepage + up to 10), mobile device scans, email notifications and a PDF report per scan

What it doesn't do

  • It doesn't add an overlay widget or claim to fix anything automatically. You (or your developer) make the changes; Scanluma shows what and where.

  • Automated checks can't catch every accessibility issue. Things like keyboard flow and whether alt text actually makes sense still need a human. Scanluma covers the part that can be automated, and keeps covering it.

Pricing: the free plan monitors one homepage weekly, no credit card needed. Pro is €29.95/month or €299/year, excl. VAT. An Agency plan for multiple client sites is coming soon.

I'd love your honest feedback, especially:

  1. Is it clear within a few seconds what Scanluma does?

  2. If you run a website: what would make you check accessibility more often than once?

  3. Anything in the reports that's confusing?

I'll be here all day answering questions.
