SaltBrite - Free portfolios for models & photographers

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I built SaltBrite because models and photographers still mostly find each other through Instagram DMs and Facebook groups, and neither was made for it. You can’t search by town, you can’t tell who’s real, and your best work is buried under everything else. SaltBrite is a free portfolio and networking site for models, photographers, studios, stylists and make-up artists. To be clear for this crowd: the human kind of model, not the LLM kind. How it works: Join, fill in a profile and upload your photos (up to 50). A person checks every profile before it goes public. No bots, no empty accounts. Search by member type and by distance from a town, in miles or kilometres. Message people, bookmark profiles and photos, and leave a simple yes/no recommendation after working with someone. A few things I cared about: nothing is ever placed on top of your photos, location data is stripped from the files we serve, and everyone pictured must be 18 or over. It’s brand new, so it’s quiet in there right now. Castings are next on the list.
