S-T-O-P is as powerful as many pepper sprays but it is dry, non-pressurized, non-metallic and packaged as food (because it is!). So you can take it where other self-defense devices are forbidden.

As an outdoor enthusiast, I became accustomed to carrying pepper spray to fend off wild animals. Fast forward to a trip on the metro to the airport where self-defense devices are forbidden. On the way, a woman was harassed and there was no way to protect her. Fortunately, it did not escalate but it raised the question, how to you protect yourself where self-defense devices are forbidden - places like sporting events, concerts, government buildings, commercial flights and many foreign countries.
