Any app using a Sentry SDK switches by just changing the DSN, no code changes. • ~50MB RAM, ~20MB Docker image, zero external deps • <50ms P99 ingestion, 10,000+ events/sec • Issue grouping, rate limiting, alerts, teams, etc.. • Optional dashboard, deploy just the server • TypeScript client + MCP for AI assistants

Hi everyone! 👋 I'm Abian, creator of Rustrak. I built Rustrak because I was tired of expensive SaaS error tracking and the complexity of alternatives requiring Redis, Kafka, and multiple services. Rustrak is a drop-in Sentry-compatible backend if your app already uses a Sentry SDK, just change the DSN. The server is a single Rust binary idling at ~50MB RAM doing 10,000+ events/second. What makes it different: - Zero external dependencies with SQLite (PostgreSQL for production) - ~20MB distroless Docker image, ARM64 too - MCP server included — Claude, Cursor, or Continue can manage errors from your AI assistant Fully open source (GPL-3.0).
